Nic Curcio
Physiotherapist Resident

Nic has worked with children for many years and is passionate about helping kids of all abilities participate in meaningful movement and play. He previously worked at On the Ball as a Physiotherapy Assistant and is now thrilled to be returning as a Physiotherapist Resident!

Nic has been actively involved in community programs such as the Winter Adapted Games and Motionball, organizations that promote inclusion in sport and recreation for individuals of all physical and cognitive abilities.

He completed his Bachelor of Science (Kinesiology), Certificate in Disabilities and Physical Activity (DIPA), and Master of Science in Physical Therapy, all from Queen’s University.  During his Master’s program, he completed a pediatric placement where he gained experience across neonatal development, neuromuscular disorders, orthopedics, and gross motor development, which sparked his passion for pediatrics.

Nic believes that every child deserves the opportunity to play, move, and explore in their own unique way. Having worked with patients of all ages, he’s fascinated by how the body adapts over time, and how early physiotherapy intervention can positively influence development and growth.

His treatment approach combines play-based therapy, hands-on techniques, and education for both children and parents to promote confidence and independence in movement.

Committed to lifelong learning, Nic has pursued additional training in:

Introduction to Neuro-Developmental Treatment (NDT) and Dynamic Core for Kids
