About

Laurence graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and worked in that field for a decade before she discovered Occupational Therapy. She knew at that moment that she could make a difference in people’s lives as an occupational therapist and decided to get her Master of Health Science in Occupational Therapy.

She pursued pediatric occupational therapy due to her love of young minds. She believes that with the proper help and support, children can develop strong self-esteem and values and works to involve each family member of her patients to allow full participation in their daily lives.

Laurence is always looking to expand her scope of work and will often seek experiences and professional opportunities with other pediatric occupational therapists as well as attending workshops and courses.
