Catherine Mitchell
PTA/OTA

With a strong academic background, including a College Diploma in Health Promotion, a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a focus on Physical and Health Education, and a College Diploma as an Occupational and Physiotherapy Assistant, Catherine is hoping to pursue her goal of completing a Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy. She brings both knowledge and compassion to the field of pediatric rehabilitation.

Her clinical placement at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO) strengthened her skills in supporting children and families through individualized care plans, while also deepening her interest in pediatric physiotherapy. In addition, Catherine’s lifelong involvement in hockey and participation in other sports such as softball, soccer, and basketball—both as a player and coach—have given her valuable insights into physical development, movement, and injury recovery. She is dedicated to helping children overcome physical challenges, achieve their milestones, and thrive in both everyday activities and recreational pursuits. Catherine is excited to expand her expertise and contribute to the team at On The Ball, where she can continue supporting young patients and their families on their rehabilitation journeys.
