About

Miriam grew a passion for the mental health field while pursuing her undergraduate degree, which led her to complete her Master's in Occupational Therapy. By studying Occupational Therapy, Miriam hoped to pursue a career helping individuals experiencing mental health difficulties find meaningful occupations and live independently.

Throughout her schooling, Miriam has worked with diverse groups of individuals, ranging from mental health support to working with a non-profit that develops programs to engage children in learning and play-based activities. After completing her schooling, she knew she wanted to begin a career working in a pediatric setting.

Miriam approaches her care by supporting the development and goals of children that are meaningful to them and their families. She enjoys working with children and continues to be inspired by their resiliency, playfulness, and ability to find joy in the simple things. She is excited to continue learning and developing as an Occupational Therapist to best support the families she works with.
