About

Amrita is an internationally educated and experienced Occupational Therapist. She has been ranked #1 at the university level and obtained a gold medal in the 2009 national examination conducted by AIOTA (All India Occupational Therapy Association). 

She has a wide experience in treating pediatric patients, patients with concussions, injuries of the hand, neurological conditions and oncology. She has also built in-house splints making set up for pediatric patients at a Children’s Hospital. She has worked at national and state hospitals in India, not-for-profit organizations, and rehabilitation clinics in Ottawa. 

Amrita moved to Canada in 2017 and is currently working towards registering herself with the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Her prior experience in Sensory Integration, learning disabilities, ADHD and ADL training is an asset for On The Ball team.

Amrita is keen on, and loves working with children with various needs and believes that success only comes with faith, patience, and perseverance. Her only measure of success is improvement in the children she works with.
