Emma, a local to Ottawa, is a registered Occupational Therapist with a passion for working with children. She completed her B.A. in Psychology at Carleton University, and her M.Sc. in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto.
Emma has had a variety of experience working with different populations - always with the same objective - to help people work towards meaningful and functional goals in order to live their best lives. Emma has also worked on a community-based research project, where she helped young students with disabilities reach their employment goals.
She is constantly expanding her knowledge and learning new things in the area of pediatrics, including sensory-motor based treatments for different ages. Emma approaches her practice in a holistic way, always considering how mental health and self-regulation contribute to everyday life.
When she is not working, she enjoys the outdoors, gardening and going to spin class. Emma joins our team with enthusiasm, creativity and compassion.
