On the Ball invites kids to use their imaginations as they adopt and learn new postures, explore their breath, and are empowered to promote their own wellbeing. Kids will playfully combine traditional yoga poses, rhythmic, primitive reflex integration movements and mindfulness.
We live in a world of constant movement and we rarely think of the stress this can cause our children. Kids can derive enormous benefits from starting a yoga practice of their own. Yoga allows children to increase their flexibility, strength and bodily autonomy.
Yoga is not only physically beneficial for kids as it allows them to play while connecting with themselves on a deeper level, it also requires kids to learn how to calm themselves from a busy day and develop a keen sense of concentration.

If yoga sounds like something you would like to get your child involved in, please note that your child requires an in-clinic assessment beforehand. We also highly encourage parents to join us for our yoga sessions. On the Ball yoga classes may also be covered under your extended healthcare insurance benefits.
