Jenny completed her Bachelor of Kinesiology with a minor in psychology at Acadia University and then completed a Master’s of Science in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie. Jenny spent her time in university volunteering as a student director for the Acadia S.M.I.L.E. program, a program that provides persons with varying disabilities a unique physical activity experience in order to improve their total development as individuals. It was this experience that inspired Jenny to pursue pediatric physiotherapy.
Since graduating, Jenny worked a rural hospital in Nova Scotia before moving to Ottawa to pursue pediatrics. For the last year, she has been working as a school health physiotherapist in the Ottawa Champlain region. Jenny is continuing her post-graduate education and has training in Dynamic Core for Kids and Early Identification of Motor and Cognitive Delays in Infants. She is passionate about pursuing courses in order to provide high quality care and provide fun and engaging therapy for children.
Jenny was born and raised near Halifax, Nova Scotia, and although she loves the ocean, she is enjoying exploring new hiking spots in Ontario and Quebec. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, bike riding and doing yoga.
