Sandra Lee OT Reg. (Ont)
Sandra is a registered Occupational Therapist and completed her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy in 1994 from McGill University. Always looking to increase her knowledge base and skill set, she values ongoing professional development. Some of the topics of the courses she has taken include: sensory processing and regulation, feeding, pre-printing skills, handwriting skills, sleep, primitive reflexes, and the Safe and Sound Protocol. She has a special interest in Down Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
Although she has recently returned to the profession after taking a break to raise her family, she comes with a varied work experience. She has worked with children with developmental delays at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario; in the school care setting; at a rehabilitation centre for injured workers; and in the homecare setting.
Originally from Montreal, she is comfortable providing services in English and French. She looks forward to meeting the diverse children who come to the clinic and supporting their amazing families.
She is the mother of 3 girls, including her youngest who has Down Syndrome. Raising a child with special needs has broadened her understanding of Occupational Therapy. In her free time, she likes to go for walks, learn sign language, bake, help out with the kids' club at church, and eat chocolate and cheesecake.
